Dr. Schmutz

Dr. Schmutz, originally from Kanab, Utah, studied at Southern Utah University and obtained bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in chemistry. In 2007, Dr. Schmutz completed his dental training at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio where he finished in the top ten of his graduating class. After dental school, Dr. Schmutz was commissioned as a Captain in the United States Army and completed a 4 year commitment serving as an army dentist at Fort Knox, Kentucky. While in the US Army, Dr. Schmutz served one tour in Baghdad, Iraq with the the 1st Med Brigade.

After the military, Dr. Schmutz, his lovely wife, and wonderful four daughters lived in Oregon, New Mexico and finally settled in the beautiful Heber Valley. Dr. Schmutz enjoys dentistry with a drilling passion. His interests include outdoor activities, reading, Cleveland baseball, and spending time with his estrogen-filled family!
